We are excited to announce that the 2023 Men’s and Women’s Beefsteak Events will be held on Thursday 3/16 and Friday 3/17 from 11:30am – 4:00pm. We know that this is one of your favorite annual Huse Culinary events, and our team is working hard to make it fun and special for you and your guests!

What is Beefsteak?

Beefsteak is an afternoon event full of networking and indulging in plenty of food, beverages and – of course – basketball! Beefsteak is separated into men’s only and women’s only events.

It started in 2008 at Harry & Izzy’s Downtown with just a small group of about 20 people. They got together to fill out their brackets and watch the first round of the Men’s NCAA basketball tournament, while drinking beer and feasting on sliced beef tenderloin to mimic the old traditional Beefsteak banquet (read about it here). Since then, the event has grown to be held on multiple days, at multiple locations, serving over 2,000 guests each year!

What is included? Tickets include all you can eat St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, Sliced Beef Tenderloin, Fries, and a wide variety of beer, wine, & cocktails. Each guest must wear the Beefsteak apron provided upon arrival for the duration of the event – It’s tradition!

Request Tickets: Please complete the form via the link below for the event you are interested in attending. You must complete the form to be added to the event list, even if you have previously attended or previously requested tickets. Completion of this form does not guarantee tickets; however, we will do our best to accommodate your request! Ticket confirmations will be sent out beginning February 1st. 

LADIES’ BEEFSTEAK

Location: Harry & Izzy’s Northside
